Hands-on work, guided by what the assessment finds.
Manual therapy is skilled hands-on treatment of your joints and soft tissue: mobilizing a joint that has stopped moving properly, releasing tissue that has tightened around it, and giving you back range you had lost. Dr. Hochung Jeon has advanced training in the Mulligan Concept and Functional Manual Therapy, two approaches built specifically around finding and correcting the mechanics behind the pain.
This is not a massage and it is not the same routine for every patient. What Dr. Jeon does with his hands is decided by what your assessment showed, and most people feel the difference in the same visit.
Precise, responsive, and felt the same day.
Whole Body Assessment
Dr. Jeon checks how each joint moves and where the restriction really sits. The painful area is often not the area causing the trouble, so the assessment covers the whole body rather than the one spot.
Hands-On Treatment
Mobilization and soft tissue techniques are applied to exactly the joints and tissue the assessment flagged. Most people feel the stiffness or pain change before they leave the room.
Movement That Locks It In
New range has to be used or the body drifts back to the old pattern within days. You finish the session moving through what you just gained, with a short home plan to keep it.
What patients say.
"Excellent therapist and attention to detail. Spends the entire appointment with you, unlike other PT offices. Focuses on the reason you need PT, but also your entire body's alignment."Melissa H. · Google Review
